Have you heard about the Bay of Plenty Music Studio?

Run by a group of of private, registered music teachers, the BOP Music Studio exists to support aspiring musicians here in Tauranga.

The studio has recently held it’s Annual Music Festival at Otumoetai College, which serves as a practice opportunity for local musicians – with around 100 musicians performing this year.

Practice makes perfect…

The festival is deliberately held prior to the NZ Music Examinations Board Exams (the ones that count!), and from all reports, the standard of performance for the event this year was very high. The BOP Music Studio were also fortunate to attract two very well regarded commentators for this years event, Bryan Sayer and Andrew Buchanan-Smart.
